This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

My best friend used to say this to his crew at their morning meetings before getting to work.  Since he has passed on I have come to realize that life is even shorter than I thought it was.  Making the most of each day is something that I would really like to do.  I know the only way to do this is by serving Jesus.  When I live life my way, almost everything I do serves self but leaves me with very little satisfaction in life.  When I look back on my life, will I see someone who made an impact on those around him?  Or will I have just had a good time.  The bible says, Choose this day whom you will serve….as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.  We all have to make a choice in life, I want to be a vessel unto honor.
